This adorable pair swam into Otago Harbor and took a nap on the beach for several hours, with a small crowd of rotating onlookers. Typically, I have to go out to the Pacific side of the peninsula to find sea lions, but sometimes they come in to fish for octopus or -- well let's be honest, nobody knows what is actually going on in a sea lion's mind, or what they spend most of their time doing. I have learned, though, that they spend a lot of time asleep on the beach.
